I do levels instead of models for all of my instruments. Since I use many different woods and materials, using levels rather than models means that each instrument will be unique.
Level 1 is a basic instrument using quality materials. Level 2 uses more highly figured wood, and has more detail work. For Level 3, I pick the best wood, and use more individual appointments.
I sell my instruments directly to individuals, at a limited number of festivals, and through selected instrument dealers (see Links and Stuff).
