The wood
pile. I collect wood, and have an attic full. I've always got an eye

Resawed wood curing.
These are bouzouki sides sanded to thickness, bent, and put in a holding mold to keep the shape while gluing on kerfed edging in preparation for gluing on the top and back plates.
While
working on the sides, the braces are glued to the top in the "go-bar"
deck, an ancient oriental process brought up to date using carbon graphite bars
in place of wooden sticks which did not always provide uniform pressure.

After the top is removed from the
"go-bar" deck, the braces are shaped for tone.
All tops are signed, dated and numbered before assembling.

Gluing the top on after the edges of the sides have been carefully profiled to match the radius of the top and back.
